      More to hockey than points. Players like motte are sought after for bottom 6 roles so you have to pay a bit more. Worse comes to worse you trade him.

      So let me get this straight. You overpay to get a 4th liner because "reasons" and if it doesn't work you you just trade the guy who is over paid.

      I definitely like Motte but he's a bubble player who may spend a good chuck of time in the press box. Give him a million tops. If he doesn't pan out, you can always send him to the farm.

      Konecny in my opinion is very capable of getting to a point per game or at least close. The top 6 in philly is just not great and that whole team is a mess. Laughton on our 3rd with kampf and pulju makes a really amazing defensive checking line. The 1st is an added bonus that can be flipped at the deadline for other assets.
