Description
League is points based, 5 player keeper, and auction draft. Auction budget is set for $260 and all keeper salaries are subtracted from your starting amount. Right now I've decided to keep the following players (price/points).

Matt Murray ($7 / 302.3)
Vasilevskiy ($1 / 201.8)
Laine ($1 / 207.3)
Matthews ($12 / 211)
Scheifele ($14 / 242.25)

I'm throwing a lot of the top players back because I think I could get them for the same price since my cap situation is a lot better than most of the leagues. Here are the others I'm considering keeping.

Even though you want to save money to potentially rebuy for less I would still protect McDavid. Trade out scheifele for him. Can't see him going for much less than his current $42.

Scheifele's value comared to cost is huge. I wouldn't sell that for McDavid which is CRAZY to say the least!

Personally I think TB is going to have a bad year next year so I'd drop Vasilevsky and pick up a different goalie buuuut that's without knowing who else is available so pickings could be slim. I'd look at either keeping Eichel or McDavid. Eichel will most likely have a beast year this year and could be your best bang for buck.

yeah my main debate was between Vas/Eichel/Forsberg/Kucherov. I think a full year of Eichel would have put him above Matthews and below Marchand/McDavid. The only reason i was keep Vas was because the goalie market is slim since almost everyone is basically keeping both goalies. It's a 12 team league too so that leaves like 6 starters left over.

yeah you're right. i think Crosby went for $56 and Ovi went for $52. I imagine McDavid will go around there, but I think having Scheifele/Laine/Matthews as absolute steals I'd be able to bank some of that money and get McDavid back. Haha I know it seems crazy to throw McDavid back, but I'll still have $225 left for the draft. The next closest person only has $170. I don't seem them spending $60 on one player ya know? I just wanted some advice and to see whta people think.
