In this hypothetical go for it, albeit i cant equate that return for Kawhi besides knowing it was a long standing asset rom the Raptors with more term i believe. This would fit the narrative. Overpayment, a risk but you need to take risks and it paid off for the Raptors. Leafs would always be a better team for the short term here. Similar indeed IMO

Trading for ufa isn't the kawhi trade. It's adding that piece to put you over the top. Not subtracting more than you gain.

Hence why I said you keep nylander.
