To be honest I still had hope for this team 2 weeks ago. But now that hope is a 0. I hate to break it to you but the isles won't be making it to the playoffs this year. They need to win 30/40 of their next games which is technically impossible with the way the islanders have been playing recently. But next year I am sure that the isles will be a playoff team. We have enough money next year to sign a 1st line winger like Foresberg/Gaudreau, and a 1/2 line caliber defenseman. this will help increase the production of Matt Barzal, because he will have a skill player playing with him. Lee yes i like him but he isn't much of a boost for barzys talent, and bailey is just bailey. Next well be able to sign a good defensemen, this will help reunite the pelly pully line and give more chemistry, and solidify our blue line. without a doubt if our offseason goes as planned the isles are a playoff caliber team next year.
