Trying to rebuild the D and get some flexibility here. Swap out or add youngsters or add draft picks from Hawks but could this work?

ANA - feel like folwer could be available. Don't think they will sign him for the $6-7M x 6-8 required to keep him. Fowler replaces Seabrooks contract basically as Hawks sign long term. Panarin gives Ana more skill up front to go with their size. Forsling gives them a potential Fowler replacement in a couple years.

CAR - plenty of cap space to take on Seabrooks contract. Could they use a veteran on the backend to go with their youngsters? Issue with CAR is cash, so taking back Lack and Stepniak brings back 5.5M in salary plus the 2M+ for front load last year brings cash outlay to 5.75M over the next 7 years for Seabrook with cap hit of 6.88M. Don't think CAR wants to give away others with term and salary, but happy to take Stall or Skinner back instead or addition.

Signed Justin Williams to get some playoff scoring plus another 3M available for someone else if they want and sets hawks up with 15-20M in cap space after next year with fowler signed to sign some of the youngsters and/or free agents then as needed.
