Description
This is just to start the season; we all know how the Avs are about drafting and developing now, so their best, newest toys will need to prove themselves in San Antonio before coming to Denver. The new coach is all about skating, so Grigo is out. Comeau is a solid vet and a safe choice for Vegas. I can't really see how Soderberg can be jettisoned, so he stays for now. Colborne has the right attitude and only one more year, so he can be a good soldier on the 4th line until the TDL. Plekanec is a filler until Jost or Hischier are ready. Beauchemin doesn't want to move his family, so he stays until the TDL as well.

    Matt Duchene is not John Tavares. Montreal is not giving up Sergachev, keep dreaming. Bergevin has made that ABUNDANTLY clear. All you Colorado fans seem to have overrated Duchene by a wide margin and that's why you are still stuck with him after the TDL.

    2. GMs never, ever lie about their intentions
