We trade tarasenko for a two way to finish the all two way second line. i like bailey a ton and last season he was on pace for his second highest point production season if it was 82 games and he shows up in the playoffs not to mention this frees up an extra 2.5 mil for us to sign thomas and save money for next year to be able to resign Perron and Parayko

Soucy is average age so Seattle isnt giving up a young player or nothing and Soucy is a 2nd pair dman (which wouldnt fit for Seattle) and pushing him to the 3rd pair would stunt his growth so they get a dman that can play 3rd pair fine for the same price and a 2nd and 4th pick for the fact that Soucy is a 2nd pair dman i think this makes sense for both teams

No thanks. Bailey makes more sense for us rn even if they had the same cap hit, meaning even if you took out the 3rd and retained 2.5 I still wouldn't be interested.
Idk why you guys are so obsessed with trading him to us, we aren't really that interested.
Also in what way is soucy a 2nd pair defenseman? He's played 3rd pair his whole career.

hes a defensive dman who put up a 27 point pace that is more then good enough to play second pair minutes and faulk an offensive dman who just had a bounce back year would fit perfect

He has only played 3rd pair minutes his whole career, saying he is a 2nd pair dman is just not true. Could he be? Maybe. But we have no idea if he will or not. As of now though he most certainly isn't.
