They need to find a way to unload Girardi. That contract has turned out to be so ridiculous. Trades aren't bad, just don't like the player usage.

G won't be moved this year, offseason is very likely. Whether it be a buyout or giving a pick to LV and trying to get him to waive his NTC.

Could put Shatty with Mac, G with Skjei, but AV is stubborn and probably wouldn't do that.

Feel like it may be Lindberg and Gropp or Graves with picks for shat, Klein and Holden may end up going separate for prospects/picks. Several trades with several teams may be what does happen.

No reason NOT to make trades, especially if they're fair. BUT today's nhl, going by history and predictions, there will around 20 total trades, 90 % minor trades. Hopefully we're in on a couple. Why is everybody trading away Holden just to sign lesser Smith for more money, doesn't make sense. Btw, would rather trade for 4m D instead of being shackled by a 6-7m Shat (see Yandle).

Just for fun, like I said in the post, NYR would never try to pull off this many deals.
