MIN - Kahkonen Great trade candidate, alot of teams need that young goalie and vanecek would not carry the same price tag that would make trading worth it. Kahkonen get high flip value and broberg is young with a very high ceiling that can slide into the lineup to fill the hole left by gio in the lineup.
MTL - Danault (UFA) He is looking for icetime and opportunity. He would get plenty in seattle.

With this kind of Cap space, seattle can snag a less than ideal contract or 2 via trade to add high-end draft capital in this or next year's draft (which slated to be the best since 2015) + prospects Francis may be high on. Given the pacific division this roster could be a playoff team with a strong dcore, solid centre depth and a good enough goalie tandem to compete. There is also the option of writing up an offersheet given the amount of big fish that are waiting to be signed but compensation may just be too high a price to pay.
