What does Buchnevich’s next deal look like?

With no extension, easy swap. With extension, Rangers add.

I like Buch but doesn’t make sense for Canes. Leaves a gaping hole to fill at 2C and Troch is a great fit who they’ll likely extend.

Only way I see this happening is if there’s another deal in place that is moving Nino and some assets to get a different 2C who’s at least as good if not better than Troch which is probably a short list in terms of who’s available.

thought strome had a pretty decent season

Cap doesn't work out for Minnesota . Would strome be good maybe for 1 year? Maybe; but until wild get kaprizov, Joel Eriksson Ek, & fiala done, signed , this type of trades will be on hold

Also, I think this has been beat to exhaustion in a way that even though it's Rangers fans who make this greenway for Strome trades, Ramgers fans get mad .
