Putting a roster together that might get them into 5th place. Pouliot and Klinkhammer are strong possession players, that will definitely help McDavid, as well as Letestu considering he is a strong defensive forward. Slepyshev is a talented player, can slot in for Korpo or Pitlick. This Oilers F group is young, skilled, and has serious talent.
Nurse and Fayne on the 3rd pair could be their most reliable group, Nurse looks to be the real deal, Fayne is real solid. Sekera and Klefbom would be a good mix, Sekera is a strong possession player and Klefbom seems to play a good defensive game and drive possession as well.
Schultz is a mess defensively, and Nitikin is pretty solid defensively. Not the strongest pair, but could help out some offense. They'll finish ahead of Vancouver and Phoenix.
