Description

The Kellman trade is pure speculation, I know they need Centres and Kellman can be solid as a 4C and is on a league min contract for next season. It was also a cheap way of gaining the 10th pick in the draft.

I see Sharks signing a more Veteran 3RD, which Carrick would be cheap if not kept by Devils. Getting an established 3C in Nosek solves what has been a problem for Sharks for 2 seasons in a row now since Jumbo lost his groove.
Hyman as a 1RW would be exactly what Sharks need, a winger that plays a tough game and regains possesion. Leafs likely cant retain him as he is due a raise so lets go get a right hand shot winger to play in the top 6 and that allows Balcers to drop down to 3LW and get more favourable matchups
Simek I think will be traded out before the Expansion Draft since if left unprotected I would be sure Seattle take him over Gambrell.

if SJ can get a 2nd out of a number 5 caliber d-man who's been playing 14 minutes a game this season they should take it and run. There are players available at UFA this summer who could do what he does

Simmonds I could see staying, Jumbo who knows I could see him playing another year if Leafs dont win the cup (he supposedly just listed his mansion down here in San Jose area for sale), Foligno probably ends up back with CBJ.

Can Leafs fit in Hyman at around $5m next season?

If he plays games in NHL down the stretch maybe, right now if he stays in AHL I doubt we get more than a 7th.
