We did it! We're here! This took longer than I wanted because I can only publish 10 a day, but this was a lot of fun, and having a good set of rules made it more interesting. As a parting thought, it would be interesting for those of you with NHL 21 to replicate these rosters (I had to sell my PS4 cause of the pandemic) to see who'd be best.
Anyway, here is Winnipeg's All-Draft team! Number 31. This exercise of course would change every year, but it's still fun. I'm a big fan of Chevaldayoff even if sometimes he's a little gun-shy, so let's see how we do (reminder this will include Thrasher picks).
NOTE: One of the better teams at developing their roster through the draft, their player retention is pretty great, and one of the reasons they've remained competitive I think - they're patient with their prospects. Their D is a little weak, but again, they're being patient with some really promising young defencemen.
I'd put Coburn (ATL 2003, now NYI) over Heinola for an all-draft team, as the latter has been around for a handful of games
Fair enough, but the rules for the 31-team exercise was to evaluate based on who would be on a roster today: I would value Heinola over Coburn today, but not based on whole career

By that criteria, Little shouldn't be on the roster. Season ending injury last season, didn't return for the bubble and sitting out this year.
