I wonder what it would cost to get rid of Matty P? You'd think a team like OTT or NJ would welcome a deal with some sort of compensation.
I really like Matty P and he's be a great 4th liner if he didnt make so much money. Like you said, moving him frees up space for other guys, 4.1 could be enough for both Hamonic and Haula on 1 year deals

Only 1 year. Still a reasonable roster option, especially in OTT. I would think a 3rd or a guy like Mackenzie who won't get a shot with the NHL on the Jets.
