Agreed, but you guys gotta get under the cap. No one will take Reaves. No chance. Fleury is trade Bait, I also think Martinez is trade bait too. IMO, trading Fleury is the right thing to do, BUT its a huge gamble because can Lehner be the guy

I’ll make a prediction. We waive fleury. He either gets claimed, or he goes to the minor league team here. That savings gets us under the cap

Yes that 1M in cap savings will get you under the other 6 million still counts. But then you only have a roster of 20 and a player that gets injured only go's on IR and still counts against the cap so you still need some cap space to recall a replacement. You only get cap relief from players who are expected to miss 10 games or 24 days, so in the event of an injury your only going be able to ice 17 skaters if you ever have 2-3 your in big trouble.
