I kinda like it

I'm really hoping the Rangers make a move to acquire a legit 2C like Cirelli. Slot him in at 2C, Chytil or Strome at 3C, and then this team is scary.

Well, youre not going to have all 3 of them on the team. Theres going to be some sort of fallout if they go after Cirelli. Ive been become more open to the idea of giving Chytil a bit more time to play. Thats why I arranged the lines the way I did surrounding him with experienced vets who dont mind being physical.

Aside from Cirellis defensive skills, his offensive numbers could be a bit skewed because of his line mates. Id like to give Chytil a chance with some consistent experienced line mates. Sure he will never be as physical as Cirelli but theres a lot of talented top tier centers that arent overtly physical.

I know Chytil is still really young but I feel like he's been so underwhelming so far that I worry he was rushed into the NHL too quickly and his development may have been ruined. I really do hope he can be 2C soon though. This "rebuild" is basically over - just need to get the D prospects and Kravtsov into the majors and we're ready to compete. Hope Chytil will be ready.

The problem is Chytil has had a revolving door of wingers for the 2 years hes played in the NHL, I think if he can get some stability there we might be able to see what he can do.
