I’ve started to come to terms with this team as is with minimal changes.

Puljujarvi fills a need on RW now and I’d take a shot and say he fits in well with KK. Could be dominant in the future together if all works out. If not than we get the 1st from Edmonton to fall back on. Giving up Tatar was not ideal but it clears needed cap space for the Habs to resign Gallagher Danault Kk and Petry next year. I think Tatar is the odd man out anyways and he could be the guy the oilers have been missing upfront.

It will be interesting to see how Poehling responds going into trading camp next year. I think he could push for a spot on the 3rd line with KK over Byron and bounce Weal out as a scratch.

With their 2 first rounders I’d look for the Habs to take another scoring winger and a RHD both project to be available around that spot in the draft.
Laval is started to overflow with high end talent at the top of each position which bodes well for call ups and the future along with the prospects they have in Europe and College their in great shape for a long time.
