The trade is close. Freddy is top 10-15 goalie in the league and after the signing bonus he's paid 1 mill, Kerfoot has a base salary of like a mill after NEXT year and Lily is a B prospect to replace the draft pick youth. Trade also to any team.

The 4th line I'd love to see but Simmonds might get more.

Forgot to say that was to any team I just picked Rangers cause they are the richest team south of the border they can afford the contract.

This year I can see the big market teams like Rangers and Leafs open their wallets to get out of cap hell. A contract like Freddy is gold now. I love Freddy but if he's on the Leafs next year I'll be a bit upset. Happy but upset. Pay that 4 mill salary and get all the assets you can get. Same cap hit leaving but the other team only pays 1 mill for 1 of the better goalies in the league.
