muzzin and rielly are doubtafully better but Dermott and Sandin are not, Sandin got a top 2 or top 4 potencial for sure
and maybe you are missing the fact that ghost played one game vs Tampa and had the same amount of points(2) as those four players put together had on 5 games. (Sandin was schrated and muzzin only played two but the fact still remains.
and maybe if they had him on the back end the flyers the would not be the only ones left in the bubble

Holy mother of an overpay with that buffalo deal..... Voracek is still a highly-talented point producer on the wing. He is not the best RW in the league but there are not a ton of names higher than him and you want to ship him out at half price with picks for a defenseman that has been getting absolutely dummied in Buffalo. -41 last year, -25 the year before, - CF%rel, - E+/-... I mean i get that he is probably being used above his ability given the lack of options and lack of support up there, but there is not a chance that I am retaining salary on Voracek and sending additional assets for hopefully a #4 defensman.

We gave up Gudas (with salary retained) for our top-pairing RD and a 2nd and 3rd for a shutdown RD for comparison.
