I am not sure if it is smart for San Jose to give away draft picks. I can see the forwards bouncing back, but the D will not I think

I personally think it's the opposite. Simek and Karlsson came off injuries in 19-20, so they will 100% be healthy with a start in December for the next season. I'm worried for the Forward group because there is no depth, and Hertl recently had ACL/MCL surgery.

Luckily for us Hertl has 7 months to recover. Ferraro had a great rookie year that he will only build on. I still have deep concerns for Vlasic. Karlsson should be the healthiest he's ever been.

Goaltending was by far the biggest issue. I wish there was a way to trade Jones because he was just awful the last two seasons.

I couldn’t agree more! Karlsson will be 1 1/2 years removed from growing surgery and will have had 10 + months of rest and recovery and will be as healthy as we will ever have a chance in San Jose to see him, Simek will be fully healthy and Vlassic and Burns will be well rested and healthy!
Meir Kane Couture and Hertl will be rested but they badly need help we need 2 middle 6 and 1 top 6 player to help support them.

FYI I would have true on the 4th line and blichfeild on the 3rd!
True is a bigger body and will be more suited to 4 line grinder and Blich is a skill winger better suited for 3rd line for not with top 6 potential.

Jones got better with a better defensive setup under Bougner and with a long offseason of work with Nabby and rest I think he comes back next season looking better and will be serviceable
