Description

This part two of the cap crunch fix in relation to the Canucks using buyouts to keep a core together during a flat cap. No trades can be done.

In this scenario the Canucks:
- Lose Demko to Seattle
- Have Sutter and Baertschi still bought out for a year
- Buyout Eriksson
- Re-up Pettersson and Hughes to bridge deals that are majorly back-loaded (this means that their qualifying offers will in the $10M+ range for the next contracts)
- Podkolzin steps into a 3rd line RW spot, but can be moved around (great defensive game, could start on the 4th line and work his way up)

This is two years in the future and yet there's still no way of knowing what will happen. I have Edler signed to a 1 year $2.5M deal, because hey maybe he'll want to stick it out and retire a Canuck. if not maybe Juolevi is ready. Maybe there's another defenseman that we don't have yet. This is all to say, lots can happen or not happen lol.
