I was inspired by another user for their Kevin Lebanc deal (KoneDome) and I really liked the idea. San Jose has Tampas pick but it more likely than not will be from 23-31 at least and being how bad the sharks were they are going to want to pick a little higher.

I think McLeod is going to be traded this offseason. Depending on how our young players do also, Wood could potentially be moved in favor of an ELC. I would like to keep him but if someone deserves a spot more than him than it is what it is.

I also have an odd suspicion we are going to get one of the Florida wingers in free agency I really have a feeling we are going to get Dadonov and I am very okay with throwing money to improve our top 6. Hopefully it isn't too long of a contract to is likely going to need to be at least a 5 year deal to entice him to come here. Anything more than that I would pass on him being 31 don't want him on too long.

I've been saying we have young pieces now we just need to start adding pieces around them, Jack and Nico will only get better if we surround them with better players so its time we spend some money and make some moves.

As for the defense idk what to do, that's something I m very curious to see what we do, sadly I think we are going to bank A LOT on Ty Smith, hopefully he can be what this team desperately needs. Forbort is a bandaid for 2 seasons until someone like Kevin Bahl should be ready to hopefully fill a top 4 role assuming Smith has taken over the top pair left side.

Money after all of these still should not be an issue, Zajac, Subban, and Schneider coming off before a Hughes extension gives us just under 21 million not taking into account Bratt, Blackwood, Palmieri, and potentially Gusev extensions.
