Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Trades - Scuderi goes to one team he wouldn't use his NTC for - only works if the Richards contract stays terminated (which I don't think it will) - but LA gets a familiar and experienced Dman plus a 3rd to offset the salary increase on the kings end

Sutter - Not sure how Canuck fans view Jensen, I like the potential he has and Pens shed salary while Van gains a dependable 3C/Low end 2C

Kunitz - Also not sure how Rattie is viewed but getting a solid 2-way, experienced, top nine winger could be what Blues need to go deeper in playoffs. Plus with what the got back for Oshie, this is entirely possible.

RFA Signings - Bennett and Dumolin brought back on cost effective 2-yr deals for depth purposes

UFA Signings - Franson - I think he would look really good in a 2nd pairing role behind Letang on the Right Side. Can play 2nd unit PP with Maatta or Pouliot and when Lentang inevitably goes down with an injury at some point, the drop off isnt nearly as bad to Franson as it would be Cole, Dumolin or Lovejoy
Santorelli - effective scoring 3C, at a much more attractive cap # for a couple of years
Goc - To right a wrong from last year, The Goc should not have been traded, coincidentally the Pens downturn last year was not long after he was sent to the Blues. He is an effective and cheap defensive 4C who can move up in a pinch and provided a bit of O

Rattie and Jensen start in Minors because of the depleted prospect pool. Hopefully turn into cost-effective wingers for a few years and maybe something more
