Already have 7 mil on buyouts, after next season, 18.5 mil will free up with Hank, Smith and Staal off the books. I don't see them doing another buyout. Can see a trade including Deangelo with Smith attached to it, despite the international Dmen won't be ready day 1 on Broadway, mid to late season call up. Kravtsov 100% starts next season.

Disagree with you on all points. Henrik doesn’t do well sitting the bench, so there’s no point in keeping him around at $8.5m just for the sake of nostalgia. A future of Shesterkin/Georgiev is a better, and cheaper, long term solution. Trading DeAngelo would be one of the dumbest things they could do. His salary can be controlled via RFA/arbitration and if we get him on a long term deal, he either is an integral part of our team and PP1 QB as our window opens next summer, or if the young defensemen make him expendable he would net us a king’s ransom being on a moderate cost, longer term deal. We just stole a first round pick for Brady Skjei, who is terrible, can you imagine what we could get in two years for DeAngelo if he’s got 3-4 years remaining on a $5m/year deal and is still scoring 50 points per season? And Kravstov isn’t a lock to make anything. He is still not dominating the AHL and his attitude has a long way to go before this coach gives him anything at the NHL level.
