Here's how i constructed the trade . Turgeon hold no value or little .He's just a throw in you can keep him if u'd like . Domi and Mantha have similar age , contracts and productions let say they even up tho i put advantage to Mantha so a little plus need to be add . Then Kotkaniemi (3OA) + Suzuki (he is on fire) + Price (retained !) + 2 second round picks (one if u consider the + on the Domi , Mantha comparaison) .
i personnally think it's a lot to give but i understand there will be opinions all around the clock !
Veleno against the 2020 Mtl first is also '' fair'' let say a little add against from MTL to be consider in the appreciation of the deal .
Price hold a lot of value TO ME . Some here compare him to Lucic .. polorizing player , one thing for sure , he's Canada Goalie until proven otherwise .

Yeah I think price is the toughest part of that trade. If you hold him as a lot of value I get it, but Detroit would have no interest in him, even retained. Habs best chance of getting Lafreiniere is if they miss the playoffs and get lucky with the lottery
