As much as we would all love the SvechX2 situation, the reality is older Svech he hasn’t been very good at the NHL level. I don’t think he’s a player the Canes would be looking at.

Alternatively, AA could be interesting but I don’t see him as a player who would play more than 10-12 mins a game for Brind’Amour. Speed is great, but he hasn’t been great defensively.

Reality here - Canes would send a 1st, a solid 3rd pairing LHD whos a RFA, and a defensively solid bottom 6 winger who is great on the PK for what?
