The 2 main trades are very interesting.

I agree that Dallas can go deep in the playoffs even with their actual roster. If their RDs Johns isn't in top shape after his injury and if Polak doesn't really do the job, they'll surely look for a top 4 RD like Petry. MTL have the cap to RS and ask for more, so the return can be great. It seems fair as it is.

For ARI, if Crouse disappoints in the early season but ARI still looks like a playoff team (which they are if they stay healthy imo), they can give up on him and get a older but better LW for their playoff run. Maybe Crouse will grow better in MTL and if he does, he is cost controlled for a long time.

It's good for MTL cause we know MTL can be contender in +2 years, not before. Tatar and Petry have contracts that end in 2 years anyway

Thanks! And yes, they can retain a lot of salary. 22 M$ next year with only Domi who will get a significant raise, they are in good cap situation
