With Dzingle being unsigned still I assume that means there is less of a market for him than he had hoped. He fits the Oilers perfectly if he will come at a reasonable number.

The VGK trade is obviously the big move here. It's my understanding that they still need to clear cap space and Eakin is on the chopping block, and they are also shopping Gusev. Gusev is a huge upgrade to the Oiler offensive front, and fits incredibly into the top 6, I also saw a report he actually has a fairly reasonable asking price of 2 years 9mil total.

If Vegas doesn't need to get rid of Eakin or would ask more to include him I would take Eakin out of the trade and move one of Granlund or Khaira to 3c and promote Nygard form the AHL to their wing.

Lastly and most importantly I am aware this is a pipe dream, I just wanted to see if there was a way to make it fit.
