Poehling will do what KK did last year and earn the C3 position out of training camp IMO. This will give the coaching staff some options with the forward lines. Personally I would like to see Domi on the wing of our top offensive line. It is also my opinion that our top offensive line this year will be centered by KK.

Winnipeg trade gets some cap relief for the Jets as well Roslovic has voiced his preference to be elsewhere. The value going back may actually be too much as both Juulsen and Evans are going to be solid pro's. Plus to draft picks is a significant return for a good winger and a cap dump.

The Vegas deal is also using cap space to get a good asset. Lindgren is a low cost back up option and Hudon is a project that can be signed reasonably cheap and has some offensive up side. Plus a couple picks. For Montreal they get a talented LW that is actually a organizational need for the Habs. Reaves can fill a roll on the fourth line or be a healthy scratch.

All in all this is a solid line up. The top pairing LD is still a question mark but I do believe that Mete is going to take another step forward this year. Leaves us cap space to make a move later on in the season if the opportunity arises.
