Can see Vesey for Nylander but not straight up, I’d guess NYR add a 2 or 3rd rounder. Fast is way too good to be a healthy scratch, even though he’s a 3/4 liner he has stepped up and played decently when filling in for top 6. Don’t see Toronto as a Kshat destination since they do have a bunch of cap issues but who knows. Also, Lemieux is NOT getting $1M. If 2 years he gets $1.25-$1.35M, is go for a 3rd year... but maybe cap wise, can be Vesey + Fast for Nylander and maybe a 2/3?

Yeah, I thought Lemieux came in a little low, but i used the salary projections from Evolving Wild. We'll see what happens on 7/1, but this looks like a playoff team to me with room to grow if things keep trending the way they are.

no way does Nylander get Vesey and a 2nd/3rd round pick. at most it would be Vesey and a late round pick, 6th/7th.
Nylander hasn't done anything to prove he has any worth in the NHL, his most notable claim is that he is a former 8th overall - that's all he has to his name.
