Description

What might the lineup look like if Lou manages to bring in Panarin and re-sign Lee/Lehner? Some money would have to be moved out. The teams and exact returns may be off, but seems like moving Leddy and Leo may do the trick. Even with that, the bottom six is less than ideal; counting on Koivula, Dal Colle, Ho-Sang and Fritz may backfire.

Would have about $16MM or so (depending on cap number) for RFA extensions after the season, so might need to move some more salary next offseason (Clutterbuck/Ladd/Boychuk ideally)

Koivula isn't quite NHL ready yet. I'd love to get a 3C on a one-year deal, and Koivula should be ready the year after.

I agree, but if they sign Panarin they're going to need to cut costs and take some risks with younger players in the bottom six. Clutterbuck reportedly may be ready for the start of the season so no LTIR for him, and Ladd could conceivably come back in the first half of the season from the ACL tear, so probably shouldn't count on LTIR for him either.

Yeah any AGM I've created I make sure Ladd counts against the cap just in case. I assume Fritz would be waived if Ladd returns.
