Seems like a good trade for the Isles, get a top 6 RW that is still young. Karlsson isn’t really a need with the other bottom 6 forward the isles have. Take him and the 5th out and make it a 3rd and Leblanc for the 1st in 2020.

I think the trade is great as is for the Islanders. We definitely don't NEED Karlsson, but it wouldn't be bad to have him. Also on a one year deal so if he's bad we scratch or waive him. No risk there. Our forwards after that trade would be:

Beau-Barzal-Eberle
Labanc-Nelson-Bailey
Komarov-3C-Karlsson
Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck

Not bad at all. Labanc plays LW, right? Either way, him and Bailey can always be swapped.
