I highly advise you never go to Denver. As you now have the largest target on your head among Avalanche fans, going there would be a death sentence.

Haha...I went through a bunch of Colorado mock teams on here looking just draft pick compensation for Kerfoot and I found a couple that were just 3rd round picks for him so I loosely based it on that.

Your trades aren’t bad. I just question if your overpaying to dump Smith. Kerfoot trade is fine maybe instead of a 3rd and 4th make it Lemieux and a 4th.

Kerfoot has the approximate value of a First round pick between 12-20.

Lemieux and a third. Kerfoot is still progressing and did quite decently last season. I don't think the avalanche as a team building to champion status will sell him for anything other than improved assets. Perhaps a more realistic trade is to get Kreider. Kerfoot and a conditional 2nd and a third for Kreider
