How to make Karlsson work

No way they can get rid of a player like Drouin. If they want to get a good left defense, they'll have to give some prospects. Anaheim Ducks are in a Rebuild mode.

Drouin has elite skill, is 24 and under contract for 4 more years at a lower cap hit than Fowler.

Fluery is 20 and has NHL Potential, even top 4 potential.

Anaheim also gets a draft pick.

Drouin is like an elite player in 2-3 years. I don't want to trade him just for Fowler. I'll put Fleury, Yionen, a second and a third for Fowler.

My feedback:

Good contracts, except Eberle.

Why sign Eberle? Weal is the gap at RW until Suzuki makes the team, eberle is not needed at all.

Why sign Hagelin? Don't need to waste money bringing him in.

Dont trade drouin + for Fowler. The added cap hit makes managing Karlsson's contract harder.

Keep Petry. He is still #3D on the habs even with Karlsson and his contract expiration lines up perfectly for Brook or Fluery to replace him.

Do not buyout Alzner until next season. Therefore adding Reimer isn't possible, but that's ok because it's not necessary.

I like getting rid of Peca, get rid of weise as well if it makes signing Karlsson easier.

Who's side are you representing? Ducks or Habs? Habs would obviously need to move cap back the other way to get Fowler, you're suggestion doesn't allow that which breaks the trade completely.
