Description

It is going to be tempting for Fletcher to sign some of the big names out there this off season since we have a nice amount of cap space but I really hope we don't add another big contract unless we can dump one via trade. I'm hoping for a few trades to get younger and faster . Defense would be an area to upgrade but I'm not comfortable with throwing $10+ million at Karlsson long term. I think it would be best to find a trading partner to upgrade there and maybe go for a low-risk/high-reward type of signing of a younger UFA. I know Reinhart has a giant bust stamped on his head but it's worth a shot.

Now roast away! Assuming MIN is looking for more NHL talent as opposed to picks/prospects so that trade is probably way off.

would rather sign Talbot as the backup for Hart. I would rather take Voracek over Niederreiter imo, I like the contracts except I think Laughton would get more because of his usefulness on the PK, and I think Sanhiem would get 3-3.5 mil instead of 4

Would certainly be tempting. Of all the young guys we have waiting Myers is the most unproven. He looked pretty good in the brief time he was called up. Feel like both teams match up pretty well as trading partners and wouldn't be shocked to see something done.
