      Many things to take into consideration...

      Considering minny has a weak center, need to shake up roster and specially considering pleck has 2 years left on his contract versus 4 for pominville, I pick pleck...

      Pleck has value for many nhl gm as a second centerman! 36 points for pominville versus over 50 for pleck this year...

      From a montreal perspective, you have to switch salary from the center to the wing to make place for stamkos... And pominville might bounce back from an off year playing with stamkos ... I am searching for the best pleckaneck for a winger trade which would free montreal cap situation...

      How would you suggest the trade should be...

      I do like the Pleks trade to move salary. Probably a lot of things some could find wrong with it but I thought it was creative. It beats all the constant "Habs trade with Edmonton" cookie cutter trades that you always see, from myself included.
      You still need to fill two roster spots with $225000 though???

      Hi Hibs, this is a 23 players roster.

      That being said, I am not sure what the rule are concerning shipashev... Is he considered a rookie therefore the rookie cap (925K) apply? If not, it would be more expensive and Montreal could also have a 22 players roster and let mike Brwon go or put Daniell Carr instead of Dale Weise and hope he gives us the performance he did for a few games last season.
