I don’t mind that you put thought behind this, but 2 things...Canes are on record they don’t want rentals and I think a top D prospect and 2 high picks isn’t a price the canes will be paying. More likely they just stay put with what they have.

I appreciate your response, I find it highly unlikely as well. To me, the Canes should be going for it this season instead of selling/standing pat. That d group is unreal and need to capitalize on a weak eastern conference. With Hayes and Zuc in the top 6 and 1st round matchup with the Isles, I could see them making it a great series.

Would hope NYR accept... seems high price...
Maybe try Bean and 2019 2nd for Hayes and Vesey...
Would be willing to talk about Buchnevich or Namestnikov as well...
Pesce would obviously be of interest to NY as well
