Any suggested way I open the cap space to do that? Should I cut down the salary for Konecny or Provorov? Is there a way I can trade MacDonald without retaining salary? If I can’t sign Karlsson, could Trouba or Tyler Myers be options?

I think EK is good, but do we want to live in cap hell on the back end of the deal? I mean we would be giving him about 1/6 of the cap if we do 12 or 13 and with G, JVR, provy, Jake, TK, and so forth, we will have no room to sign others (Patrick and Myers need extensions at end of the year). I'd say let EK go and find a second pair guy instead.
