<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jjkhairaELTE99</b></div><div>for seattle to take neal it would take a1st at the very least... better to wait a year and buy him out. If nuge is staying he isnt going to get anything more than 6mil out of edmonton cause he has 0 leverage after a bad year. coleman at most goes for 4mil cause at the end of the day he is a 3rd line forward his whole career. ARZ deal is a yikes that would happen on NHL 20 on easy. Spending money on koekkoek, oleksiak AND savard is such a waste of both cap and young talent already in the system.</div></div>

Lagesson is a good young defensemen to give up with that pick too though. I wouldn’t say a first but MAYBE a second to take on Neal but they do need decently sized contracts to bring them up to the cap floor.

For Nuge is a balance of term and cap hit. A slight raise and eating up more FA years. I think teams might offer him 6.5-7 seeing as there isn’t a stellar group of FA this year.

ARZ trade is them trying to recoup a high round pick after forfeiting and they most likely don’t want to pay Garland, even though they should. The secondary pick would probably have to be higher than a 6th, maybe a 4th down the round.

The D moves aren’t great but was trying to find actual NHL value on those contracts. If Bouchard was closer to being ready he should have pushed guys out of the lineup instead of hanging out on the taxi squad all year. I’m not as big of a believer in Jones or Bear as most people are either. I’d rather have guys in there that can play in the NHL
