Well actually, the guy is 14th in overall war in the league. On pace for the most shots in the league, and 45 goals.

I would say hes pretty damn close if not a top 5 winger.

I don't think there's a Meier trade you like or will like. Every proposal made you shut down without actually offering any kind of constructive feedback. You just dismiss it. The constructive feedback is all over the site. Offer quality and not quantity, top prospect and a first, not a bunch of stuff with some value.

And top prospect doesnt mean your 8th best prospect that has an outside chance at being a bottom sixer

Thats a fair evaluation, but it really depends on the rest of the league.

Is Meier worth more than that? Of course he is, but it takes another team beating it to get it, which may or may not happen

Timo wasnt very good. His value was certainly lower then, but we trusted the process and waited and didnt trade him for an elite forward.

That is a choice you have, but if you want to trade for a top guy, you will have to pay with guys like him.
