couturier hasn't played since 2021. he's on a good contract in theory but he has no value right now since no one knows where his health is at. this isn't a jack eichel, hasn't played in a season because of a medical dispute, situation. he's legitimately injured.

I can't say I hate it. I'm loathe to give up Turcotte, but I think this would absolutely make sense for LA.

Exactly TB had to send Perbix down to Syracuse to be able to activate Balcers to send him to Syracuse and call Perbix back up.

Highly doubt the Sens get the draft lottery given how many teams are committed to a tank.

But even if they don't win the lottery and Debrincat wants north of 9M this is a good exercise to look at.
Islanders do need scoring so DeBrincat would be appealing to them if they can get a deal done with him.
As for the return, Dobson would be a big piece to get back but I would think that the Islanders would have to do better with the other pieces, Bailey is a cap dump with term left, and there would not be a roster spot for him, and Sens have decent winger prospects already, so I don't see Dufour moving the needle a ton.

What other packages do Sens fans think are reasonable for a Debrincat trade from around the league?
