If Stevie doesn't buy him out this looks like a very realistic possibility in getting rid of Holl.
Plenty of options this summer.

Of all the posts to delete they delete that one? lol.
This is certainly a very good framework for a trade, although I can see SJ asking for another mid rounder since Sturm's been valuable to them.
I'd look at it as the 2nd to dump Holl, then you'll need to add a little bit of value to the Fabbri-Sturm swap.
But as I posted on the deleted ACGM it seems like RW fans say SY isn't paying to dump contracts. But if he were this seems like a solid start of a reasonable swap.

I think I’d rather just keep Sturm. I think San Jose would want a 2nd or close to to move Sturm alone. Not sure San Jose wants to take on $8 mil in depth players for essentially free. I think fabrri had a better season this year but he’s still a depth winger imo

Improving Depth Defense Grit
Maata has played exactly to the level he has been needed. He is the most likely to be dealt due to contract/return/play/usage/etc.
To that point, Chiarot has also had far less mishaps (hasn't played great, but at times good). Holl is whatever, still wish he didn't get signed but it doesn't hurt yet. Timmy adds to the logjam of bottom 4 D.
Not sure what you are watching with Perron, but currently would have him above Bert, Garland, Kostin, Fish, Ras, and Fabbri, while being on par with Sprong.
AJ should be moved as I don't see how he supplants Walman, Edvinsson, Wallinder.
Berggren could be moved as a piece to improve a position of need (physicality, top 4 D, defensive forward, etc.).
Ras could be moved as Veleno seemed to overtake him, but if he can be a key contributing plug moving anywhere in the lineup; he should be a cheaper, effective depth piece rather than over spending to do so in FA.

It could be an offseason deal if Van feels the need to move Garland for salary Rasmussen is someone I think Van could use as he has size which is something our forwards lack (other then Joshua and Miller.

That Toronto one is pretty bad for Detroit.
Two good young guys and a decent middle-6 forward for a guy on LTIR and an expiring FA who's a decent middle-6 forward.

It can be between who ever you want it to be but there's no way in hell the Canucks are trading either of them now

Yeah it's Detroit losing two 1sts, Berggren, and Husso.

No I think I just worded it wrong. Both Calgary and San Jose receive first round picks from Detroit. Calgary's two thousand twenty fifth and san jose is two thousand twenty four

DET Loses: '24 1st (top-10 protection), '25 1st (no protection), Berggren, Husso
DET Gets: Hanifin and Kahkonen
I'd do Berggren + '24 1st for Hanifin, but I can understand the hesitancy then.

Canucks pass. Even though he’s not putting up as many points as the last 2 seasons, Garland has been one of our best forwards and the main reason our 3rd line has been so good. Moving him in season doesn’t make sense

Playoff Push is Now
Hmm. You offer a lot of value (and a lot of moving parts to weigh), but not necessarily all the right things to make sense for the Blues. They would likely have little interest in Buium because of his skating and Mr. Olli is an awkward fit for cap coming back because A) we already have 734 LDs & B) he has another year left.
Perron instead of Maatta would help, as would distilling the package down a piece or two.

Neither trade happens.
Red Wings already have Lyon and Husso.
If Reimer is traded it'll be for a 4th or 5th round draft pick.
Chicago is happy with Mrazek.
He's the perfect tank goalie.
Konecny is worth a ton more than your offer.
Add a 1st and subtract rental Sprong and overpaid Husso.
Then add another really good prospect.

Can't see either teams accepting this tbh. For Chicago, the only meaningful asset for them in the trade is a 4th.
For Philly, just not enough for Konecny.

That would be a no from Detroit. Why would Detroit give up that much for a guy who is on pace for 14 goals and about 40 points?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dtd_tank</b></div><div>I'm not a fan of either team, but why would NSH do this? Saros has played more games in each of the last 3 seasons than Norris (which is crazy since he's a <em>goalie</em>), and Norris has only proven to be a 2C when he is healthy.</div></div>
I agree that NSH probably doesn't do this trade. I just thought maybe they would be interested in a young center with term. He has mostly played 1st line in Ottawa, but his injuries would be of concern. And Ottawa would probably have to add ++
If NSH is looking for players back and not just picks and prospects, thought this could be a good start.
