<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AG_sweden</b></div><div>I feel for you if you think that rangers trade is even remotely sensible. Or you straight up clowning in that case you doing a good job!</div></div>

With Chytil done for the season .Rangers need center depth and scoring wingers Wheeler is horrible he can not keep up . Forth line is pure garbage . Goodrow has 5 points on the season . Defense is good . Goaltending is good . This trade gives them two 2 way wingers that can chip in goals and a center who is good at taking faceoffs and leaves the Rangers with 4 mil in cap space to add someone else at the deadline . If the Rangers do not get more depth and a center who can win faceoffs and chip in on offence they are out in the first round . Outside of Kaapo the right side is total crap . Vesey is a 3rd or 4th liner on a cup team . Wheeler should be in a retirement home . Pitlick is a 13th forward at best . You have to give to get especially at the trade deadline . How does buying out Goodrow a year from now or at the end of the season make the Rangers a cup team this year ?? Panarin is 33 Kreider is 32 how many more great years do they have left . ONE WAY OR ANOTHER THE RANGERS WILL PAY TO DUMP GOODROW . And it will cost them 1st rounders or top prospects to get the cap space and the players they need for a cup run . Lets wait and see what it costs . It is usually a 2nd rounder plus plus for one year of a bad contract Goodrow has 3 years left after this year { 5 points in 48 games } . Most important thing in the cap era is cap space if you want to contend , just ask the HAWKS, LIGHTNING, TORONTO OR EDMONTON .
