Ok, It It still bad trading a Goalie who ended up being a HOF, A guy who scored more points in Florida than the 2 guys the Islanders got, and if the trade didn't happen the Islanders get Dany Heatley also. But let's not forget that in Trade Trees, there are Branches; and in these branches, there is some Miracle and Mishaps that happen that completely change the course of history in the NHL aka more trades.

Ok, what are the Branches? well, I suck at Explaining things, so I give you an example

Lets look at the Shortest Branch of the Tree, the Oleg Kvasha Branch. In this Branch, you got a guy who was Solid in Oleg Kvasha, then in 2006, he got traded with a 5th for a 3rd rounder of the 2006 Draft, that 3rd rounder is Brad Marchand. He ended up getting traded for James Delory and Shane Sims which note If you heard of these guy, You must know a lot about hockey trivia.

Branch Grade: G- (that G for God how you f*ck this up this badly)

Ok, Let's get started by finishing up the Islanders Last Branch, the Mark Parrish Branch

Mark Parrish just like Kvasha was a Solid Winger. Unlike Parrish, his Branch doesn't suck as he was traded for Denis Grebeshkov and Jeff Tambellini. Ignore Jeff Tambellini as his little branch ends, but Grebeshkov? this will be really Crazy. The Marc-André Bergeron Saga. Tambellini got Traded to Edmonton for Bergeron and a 3rd, then the 3rd got Traded with Allan Rourke Back to Edmonton for a 2nd, the 3rd Round pick then went to Anaheim in a Offersheet deal to get Dustin Penner, and then, Anaheim traded the 3rd Round pick Back to the Islanders for none other than Marc-André Bergeron

The 3rd was Kirill Petrov, the 2nd was Travis Hamonic and if it weren't for the 2017 Travis Hamonic Deal, this trade tree would be a complete loss on the Islanders.

Branch Grade: -A for Marc-André Bergeron... get it?

ok, now Florida. Lets start with the Olli Jokinen Branch, He was one of the Faces of the Florida in the 2000, So when he got Traded to Arizona, of course not many people like this, but they did Get Nick Boynton, Traded up Instead of picking the world famous Staal Brother Jared Staal, and Keith Ballard. Ballard was traded with Victor Oreskovich for Steve Bernier, a 1st which turned in to Quinton Howden, and Main Prize... Drumroll Please *Get Call* wait hold on, What do you mean he's with the Islanders? Michael Grabner got Traded to Florida. THEY WAVED HIM!?!?

ok, Florida fumbled the bag with Michael Grabner. He Failed to make the Roster, than he proceeded to score more than the Florida Panthers top point producer in the 2010-11 season.

Branch Grade: B (Olli was Great with Florida, and the rest fell down really badly)

ok, the Last Branch, Roberto Luongo Branch. We all know how good he was in Florida, so let's talk about the Trades. He got Traded for 3 Players, Bryan Allen, Alex Auld, and Todd Bertuzzi. Allen was eh but serviceable before getting traded for Sergei Samsonov final NHL season, and Auld played for Florida for 1 season; but It is Todd Bertuzzi we talk about. Question, who actually remember Todd Bertuzzi on the Panthers? yea, here what happen, He played for 7 games, Got Hurt, was out for 5 Months, Got Flipped to Detroit for Shawn Matthias and a 2nd, and Matthias was apart of a deal to bring Luongo Back. and the Rest is History

What about the 2nd, Well the 2nd was with a Package with a 1st and 2nd Round Pick for Goaltender Tomáš Vokoun, who was sadly throwed in with one of the worst teams in the NHL at that time, and was once got Injured by Teammate Keith Ballard, Yes, that guy I just talked about. also the pick were Josh Bailey, Aaron Ness, and Nick Spaling, but Spaling was the only one apart of the trade tree so yea

Branch Grade: (A+ Luongo a HOF and Retired with the Panthers, but the trades could be better tho.)

Conclusion: If it weren't for the Travis Hamonic Trade, The Islanders would of looked a lot worse at this point in time.
