Not for the sharks is didn't! Hertl is one of if not the THE best forward on our team.

Lineup makes no sense your 43 mil over the cap.
Sharks should do that trade but Wilson is to prideful to admit he screwed up and sharks and Vegas won’t trade with one another due to the rivalry and close proximity.

Change of Scene
Roslovik to me is slightly better than Sorenson and he has publicly stated he wants out, crippling his trade value! your overpaying for him IMO.
Meir PLD and Labanc
That would make a very nice young top line for us with
Kane Hertl TBD
making a great (if healthy) second pairing.
Problem is I think your underpaying for PLD. He’s 22 3 seasons in and looks good! couture is 31 paid top line money till 38 that’s 3 years to many and that destroys his value, but you are right he’s the kinda guy Torts loves!!! But how long is Tort going to actually be there?
My feeling is PLD for Hertl and a 1st or 2nd is the value they want in return, and that’s a wash for us talent wise and fans would hate it.
Couture 2 mil retention plus 2021 1st and 1 of the new kids we just got would be a true starting point and though it’s fair value I feel the sharks Balk, just too much to give up!
wait till Chicago gets healthy and Strome is pushed back down to 3C, offer that first and a good prospect for him! Not quite the same player but he would really add something to our roster without taking away too much value!

This would be awesome but not seeing it.</div></div>
I see Johnson having a bounce back year and not costing nearly as much to trade, Killorn is a solid player, cousins is a significant step down but in a flat cap the value makes sense.
No way Boston take that deal unless macdonagh balls out next season.
Was hoping the sharks swoop Goodrow at 1.4-1.6 so if you guys like him then I think we’re out.
still the ideas here are solid though I think the next player gone is more likely Stamkos and Johnson, that would set you guys up to revamp and and not go into cap hell again.

Leonard I feel will be a full time starter this year if not 100% by 2022.
Melnichuyk or Korenar one of them should be backing up by 2022 if not 2021.
I would love Tierney back he was one of my Favorite
Won’t Marleau be back going for game #2000 lol
And sadly I think at least 1 if not 2 or scarily maybe even all 3 will still be here in 2022
Vlassic for sure as buying him out won’t be logical till 2024 and trading him or him retiring before that just won’t happen.
Jones and Burns both might be trade-able if they play well in 2021 again why retire from Guaranteed money? Make them buy you out.
But I do like your post, sorry for being so contradictory.

I’d rather lose burns 9.9/10 to Seattle than Karlsson. Karlsson is still very good and better than burns even while injured Karlsson has outperformed him. Burns still provides offensive production but defensively he fell off a cliff this past season while Karlsson has outperformed him offensively and played very solid defensively especially compared to burns.
The leafs also laugh at that offer. Sorensen is lighting up the 2nd tier Swedish league. It’s cool and impressive but nothing to write home about seeing as it is; a second tier league in an already weaker league system compared to others like the AHL and KHL. Maybe Sorensen could return a second if we’re like lucky and he plays well by TDL</div></div>
Karlsson won’t be traded as no one wants that contract, Bit defensively I watched Karlsson stand next to the net a d watch 15-20 goals scored on him with zero effort from him he is a horrible defensive player. Worse than burns by a lot!!!

Sorenson is less than half the cost 5 years younger and similar production potential. This just doesn’t make sense either way.

Kane isn’t a cancer, he is well liked and popular here. He also is 28 so five more years finish his contract to 33 which is about the life expectancy of your prime years as a power forward Maybe that last year sucks but the other four are still going to produce and produce well. The end of the day this is 100% fantasy never gonna happen the only reason I was Tasing Kane was he is the most tradable asset we have with a large contract.

Again, look at the player Ryan was in his last two seasons in Anaheim, and that's who they knew they were getting, and got. Ignore the first two seasons in Anaheim because they are what he was, not what he was becoming.
As for Kane, get past the insults and idiotic comparisons, and then maybe we can discuss Kane, but until then, this is about you not understanding the trade you compared your trade to in the beginning.</div></div>
What?
Dude you need to get over yourself.
Your legitimately saying Ottawa was happy with the player they got? I remember from the get go Ottawa feeling Bobby was a bust, you don’t give 7 mil a year to a 45-50 point guys producing 15-20 goals. So give me all the attitude you want I still think your wrong.

I really have high hopes this year for Sorenson. He’s looking solid right now overseas, like the guy who got 17 goals back in 18/19. Plus he’s half the price. Vancouver would get a steal if they got him.

I would probably bump him up personally I agree he didn’t perform as best as he could last year, but he had an early injury which lingered and cost him. Toward the end of the season he was really, really good.</div></div>
And he got player of the month in the KHL which I would grade a small step up from AHL talent wise. He’s looking like the guy we all got excited for 16 months ago.

I hate giving up Kane especially for so little but I see this as a 3 team trade and we get a nice haul of picks and 2 very solid albeit overpaid players to offset Kane’s loss."
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Ottawa wanted a right shot scoring winger to replace Alfredsson, that's what they were looking for. Ryan produced the same in Ottawa as Anaheim, except he didn't have Getzlaf feeding him anymore, and although Spezza is a good playmaker, he's no Getzlaf. So Ryan became more of a playmaker than a finisher, but he was already transitioning to that in Anaheim. The points per game didn't decline, until the hand injuries caught up with him.
Bobby Ryan
Ana 11/12 82 games 31G 26A 57pts 0.70 pts per game
Ana 12/13 46 games 11G 19A 30pts 0.65 pts per game (shortened season 48 games)
Ott 13/14 70 games 23G 25A 48pts 0.69 pts per game
Ott 14/15 78 games 18G 36A 54pts 0.69 pts per game
Ott 15/16 81 games 22G 34A 56pts 0.69 pts per game

Opposing players began to target Ryans hands.
So starting off with the an incorrect assumption, and an insult to Ryan, is just stupid, when you don't know the facts. Without even talking about the player you want to trade, you've managed to make yourself look like an idiot.</div></div>
Wow rude much dude? You don’t have to be an ass to get your point across.
Ottawa was looking for an aggressive playing power forward and finisher who checked hard and scored goals. Like ryan did in the 11/12 season,
Not the 11-23 goals a year they got.
Kane has been averaging 26-30 goals for the last 4 years checks Hard hits and is disruptive.
Yes they wanted an Alfredson replacement but
Didn’t get it. Kane is a LW not a RW I get that, But my statement is still accurate he is what Ottawa was looking for when the got Ryan save for the wing position.

California taxes suck but players like playing here, a lot of our former players stay after they retire, sharks are one year removed from playing in the western conference finals and these two would help us return plus the rest of all our others players could mean for a big year!

My only issue looking at Tampa's side, they still need to move a contract to sign Cirelli, I think at least?</div></div>
Johnson is t he hardest contract to move and this gives them enough to resign Cenek and maybe 1 other RFA, they will need to move Killorn or someone else to sign Cirelli

I’ll pay 3mil a year for a guy 1 year removed from 29 goals,
