Maybe it’s just the fact that I watched him play all through his junior career. Lots of people seem to think that he won’t be as good but I’m telling you now, if you give him a proper opportunity he will surprise you

It gonna lie, I’m not a big fan of the Burns deal. You could probably trade him to a team who would want him (he could still put up a decent couple of seasons) and not have to trade as much. You could probably get more for him than Pionk as well.

Look. Strome isn’t a top line forward but when used right he could be a decent top 6. I’ve seen him play since his first year in Junior with Erie. Abramov will probably not get much NHL action, Holl won’t be a top 4 like he is with the leafs. If you gave them a 3rd and a decent top 9 forward it would work. Don’t fault me, that’s my opinion.
