No slide on a deal signed later after NCAA like this. The first year is this year no matter what.

So 25 games and 6 goals qualifies as the reason they missed out on Bedard?! what?

I'll expand on my reply to your previous similar post, lou has made a ton of good signings with the isles, the pulock deal was a legitimate steal, You may not like the guy but it is silly to try to say its surprising that he made a good signing. Just look at what that d core is locked up for.

Guy has a .919 save percentage over 205 playoff games. It is really hard to take you as anything but a troll if you are not going to attempt to take a reasonable position, and you didn't even try to defend it. It is one thing to say you think he is over rated, but to say he was below average? Everything we see with results, our eyes and stats points to a different conclusion than your own. Seems outlandish.

Calling the guy a "sex offender" is alittle inflammatory wouldn't you say? He didn't do anything that wasn't consensual, He showed a s** pic to his buddies, dumb and very unfair to the girl, but "sex offender" has a serious connotation to it and I don't really think it applies here.

(OTT/VGK) - Dadonov for Holden and 2022 3rd round pick
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>EmpressKayla</b></div><div>Dadonov went from 1LW to washed up in just one season. I don't feel like it is a buy low deal, it is in terms of what they gave up, but I doubt Dadonov would be worth 2/5m per on the open market, and the cap space is more important for VEG, you could be right about a turnaround tho.

I know I’m gonna take heat for this but whatever, everyone one banishing this kid because they don’t like his politics is a joke, I can’t believe how indoctrinated sports fans have become, hockey has never had a problem with “inclusion” people on here are literally calling this kids family ignorant, now all that said his other locker room issues are obviously concerning but there was more to that locker room fight in ny, many reporters and even NYR players said he was not in the wrong, I’m sure the canes got the whole story, still it’s a shame to see people being ignorant and close minded all in the pursuit of “inclusivity” and I am obviously not excusing what he said as a teenager but it was one incident, we should seek to learn and forgive not take away his ability to make a living.

Question Marks
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jr400</b></div><div>Quenneville and Bayreuther are pending UFAs, so they basically just passed on picking anybody from Chicago or Columbus. (If they were going to sign them, they would have done so before the expansion draft.) Hard to believe there wasn't one available player on those teams that they could have flipped to someone else for a 3rd to 5th round draft pick (Zadorov and Domi?). It's like they don't want to trade with anybody. Instead of accumulating tradeable assets, they seem to have just gone fishing to try to find the next William Karlsson. The defense looks pretty solid though. They could definitely trade a couple of defensemen and still have enough depth at that position to start the season. I think they'll be ok in goal too. We haven't seen Driedger or Vanacek in a true #1 role yet, but they've both shown enough for me to think that they could at least form a solid tandem.
I too was amazed that they took Geekie over Bean. The only reason I can think of is the uncertainty of Bean not being signed. Maybe they talked to him and he wanted too much. Carolina seemed to think so.</div></div>
Yea not picking Bean looks alot worse after the trade too, They could have just flipped him if they didn't want him.

Philadelphia Flyers signed Samuel Morin (1 Year / $750,000 AAV)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>rebecca</b></div><div>True (tho he did go 11th in 2013). That said, he’s still with the team that drafted him. The only other 2013 1st rounders still with their drafted teams (tho this may soon change) are:
MacKinnon - COL (#1)
Barkov - FLA (#2)
Monahan - CGY (#6)
Nurse - EDM (#7)
Morin - PHI (#11)
Morrissey - WPG (#13)
Pulock - NYI (#15)
Dickinson - DAL (#29)
Usually, by 8 years, 1st rounders are either:
a) established with the team that drafted them (a la Barkov)
b) established on another team, after bringing in a haul in a trade (a la Seth Jones)
c) no longer on NHL contract/in Europe (a la
Kerby Rychal)
Morin is the exception and sorta feels like the 40-year-old-virgin version of a hockey prospect.</div></div>

Yikes is Risto really only worth a 3rd? I haven't kept up on him recently, I know he has struggled abit, I didn't know it was that bad..... Is it because he is a 1 year rental? I would think a big D-man with offensive upside must be worth alittle more though?
