<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PuckLuck_77</b></div><div>I like your lines more than I like the OP's lines. But I think you said a couple of things incorrectly. First of all, Forbort isn't a "career ECHLer". It's absolutely criminal that he plays with Drew Doughty for sure, but Derek Forbort would be a SOLID 5/6th defenseman on many teams, including the Kings. He can eat tons of minutes, has a great stick, and can kill penalties. Those are qualities plenty of teams are looking for. It's not his fault that he's been placed in a position where the Kings have had no organizational depth after the loss of Muzzin.

Second, I personally prefer Walker over MacDermid. BicMac hasn't shown enough at the NHL level to warrant anything more than a 7th defenseman spot. He's big and can throw down, for sure, but more often than not he's a defensive liability out there because of his poor passing, poor skating, and below average hockey IQ. I would love for him to turn into a poor man's Dustin Byfuglien, but it's not gonna happen.</div></div>

MacDermid hasn't been given a solid chance. He has improved a lot this preseason and deserves 50 straight games a real shot to prove himself. If he can get a little quicker he could be a serious and scary shut down dman.
Idk if you watch every Kings game like I do, but Forbort is complete trash. There is nothing solid about him in any role. He is constantly making mistakes in the defensive end and Doughty always has to try and bail him out. Any time I did see him doing something solid he turns around does something dumb. Maybe career AHLer is more generous.
Walker hasn't done anything worth keeping him in the lineup. He doesn't do anything and he has 39 games under his belt. It's time to give that spot to someone else.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bf3351</b></div><div>Not bad. Kopitar and Vilardi will probably never be on the same line, they almost have the exact game. I am hoping Forbort is traded in the beginning of this season. If Bjornfot continues to impress and they decide to keep him on the team that might make a strong case for Forbort getting traded and quite honestly anyone is an improvement on Forbort, he is a career ECHLer.
It will probably look like this assuming what I stated above is accurate:
Iafallo Kopitar Brown
Kovalchuk Vilardi Carter(or Vilardi and Carter swapped)
Grundstrom Kempe Toffoli
Clifford Lewis Wagner

Bjornfot Doughty
Martinez Roy
Hutton MacDermid</div></div>
