If I’m being honest I don’t watch that much rangers hockey who knows the leafs have a thing for bringing guys back to semi former glory ie Ennis/ galchenuk or developing players that weren’t developed properly kinda like ho sang but he’s still a project but just the size and the fact that he can skate(not Ritchie) I think he’s a solid try it out type thing sign him for a few years hope he brakes out and is a steal of a contract like bunting

Super true, really the players that would be on the leafs radar is a defensive minded 3rd line center, a hard working top 6 guy to get Tavares off his ass (konecny or similar) and a guy that is good on the forecheck like Hyman something like Pearson or gurianov because I saw his advanced analytics are good for forchecking (the dream would be svechnikov but I don’t thinks that’s possible to get done

Yea for sure I figured more as well especially because of Johnson’s previous injury maybe they can throw in like u said dermott or maybe holl because I believe 2 mill is too much for him or like a bottom 6 guy ie(like engvall or mikiev can’t spell his name without googling it) and they can replace holl with like hamonic or I personally for some reason like the idea of subban coming home if he gets bought out I like the fact that he can taunt the opposition kinda like mattew Tkachuk which causes penalty’s from the other team

Galchenyuk is not a C, he couldn’t hack it in MTL, Pit or Zona but somehow magically he will be that guy we need....
Simmonds ahead of Clifford? Look I get that there was higher ceiling in the past but he has fallen off a cliff.
Dermott for a 3rd, guy is an established NHLer, young. No arbitration rights likely. He is worth a second and likely a small add to that.
