Can you post all the trades he mentioned? I have seen a few on here, but not all 6. Thank you! :)

We Need One More Winger to Be Complete
I know we were linked to Domi when he was with Arizona; however, I would not want to give up a 1st and our best prospect.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jesus</b></div><div>Here's the thing. Whenever he's in the offensive zone, he's generating chances. He played less than 8 minutes tonight and still got 2 shots on net and he got points in the 2 games before tonight despite only playing 10 minutes. It's just I don't think he's driving play in the neutral zone or winning puck battles the way that everyone else on the team does. He can't spend the entire game in the offensive zone, at some point he has to backcheck and step up in the neutral zone. I really don't think we should trade him or Bjugstad though. I mean is Tyler Toffoli really going to be that much better than Galchenyuk in the system that we play? Plus this team has so much chemistry I don't really want anyone getting moved off the NHL roster unless its absolutely necessary.</div></div>
Thats fair. Like I said, I do like him. I just see GMJR moving on from him. No matter what he does, it feels like it will happen. If Guentzel was healthy and everyone came back, he would be the one out of the lineup for sure. I do think the Pens would prefer Toffoli over him.

I shouldn't have used the word "viable." It's not at all viable from a rational Penguins viewpoint. I was trying to get across the concept of player-to-player value. I was trying to answer your question of whether Rakell or Kase was available and/or the likely price. Sorry about the very poor choice of word.</div></div>
All good. Always appreciate the feedback and just talking hockey. I do get your standpoint on it.

Seems fair. I think MTL maybe asks for a bit more just because he has been so good and is signed past this season. However, I still dont think GMJR wants to move these type of pieces.

Yeah, no way the Pens move out Marino. He has surpassed expectations and is an absolute beast. He is also exempt from the Seattle draft which is great. He will be in our top 4 next year for sure, since I do think Schultz is gone like you said.

His name was mentioned earlier this year in a potential Justin Faulk trade. I can see them moving him for the right price. Injuries have taken a toll on his game and Anaheim might want to get what they can.

I defo would love Tatar. He has been a beast. I dont know if the Pens wanna move that kind of stuff out though. He also plays on the left, and I feel like the Pens will favour a RW over a LW. I would take Tatar though; I think he is sick.

He will probably be the most expensive rental, and like I said, I dont envision the Pens moving their top tier picks/prospects. I also see Pens being outbid by teams like Boston/St. Louis.

I do know that. I want Chucky to work here, but it doesn't seem feasible. When Guentzel went down, he didn't even play a full game with Malkin and Rust. Kahun replaced him and that line has stuck ever since. I know we could keep him, but a trade just seems so likely.

Absolutely understandable. I just know Anaheim is near the bottom so I thought they'd keep their options open. However, a guy his age with that contract is hard to find so I get why they will hold on to him.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jimmmyg</b></div><div>Did some nice work with the salary cap and getting JJ off the books, but I don't want them to give up on Murray yet. Having 2 solid goalies isn't a bad thing, and I am not so sure Jarry will earn $3.5M after roughly 60-70 GP. Murray got that deal after winning two cups, but I agree that they should do a similar deal for Jarry. 2 first round picks would be very nice, though ?</div></div>
I do not think it is necessarily giving up on Murray. If Jarry keeps it up, it is clear that hell be the long-term option. I love Murray and appreciate everything he's done here in such a short amount of time. The way I see it, we need to move one of them before the Seattle expansion draft, since I do not want to lose another sick goalie for free. Let's say we keep him past this season and he puts up similar numbers next year, his value won't be high at all, but well be forced to make a move because of Seattle. If we move him in the summer, we can still get a solid return because of his age, credentials and potential. One bad year is something he can bounce back from for sure, but two years will really lower his value. Sure, next year could be an awesome year for him and he brings up his value and the Pens could do that, but they'll have to sign him to a contract and I am worried about the cap space.

Fair enough, but Johnsson is signed past this season, whereas Schultz isn't. If he doesn't resign, DeSmith for Johnsson and a pick doesn't seem like something TOR would want. I think they would want something past this season that is more than just DeSmith if they are moving Johnsson.

If SJ sells
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jamiepo</b></div><div>Kane would be cheap. Can’t see them moving the others.</div></div>
What is your definition of cheap? He is on pace for a 60 point season, and is signed at $7M for another 5 years at the age of 28. The problem with him is that he has a 3-team trade list, and I dont know if the Penguins are on that. Also, he already has 83 PIM, something that I am not crazy about. Between the 4 players I listed, he would probably be my last choice.

He is on pace for 30 points, which seems to be an average season for him. He is also on pace for 164 PIM, which isn't too ideal. I think Chucky could flourish with top 6 minutes. It could be another forward as well. I just think it makes sense; the Pens and Ducks have had multiple trades recently.

Update anyone
I am a little surprised that they sit last in the west.. There are a few guys that could generate interest come trade deadline. Saad can generate a good return since he is signed past this year. Caggiula can be moved for a later draft pick. Gustafsson may still bring back a 2nd+. As for the goalie situation, it is a little tough. I dont know if Lehner walks or wants to remain on this team, but he could get you a decent amount of value. I know goalies dont generate much of a return, but he could still get something decent. Crawford has been average and Delia has been underperforming in the AHL, so I dont know their goalie plan moving forward. Other than that, they need to be patient with the young guys.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ledge_And_Dairy</b></div><div>No cap space, Flames decline</div></div>
They actually do have the cap space. Since they have players on LTIR, their cap hit at the deadline would be a bit over $3.2M. They would be taking on $2.9M, so they have the cap.

Duclair has been great for Ottawa and I honestly doubt he goes anywhere. I wanted to sign him when he was a FA last summer, but oh well. As for Kovalchuk, I could see him being a good top 9 fit, but I dont know about him with Geno. I get the Russian connection, but apparently his defensive game is bad, so personally, I rather him alongside McCann and Kahun.

I don't think we move Murray in season. However, if Jarry plays a significant amount of games and proves he can take over, I could see Murray being moved at some point before the expansion draft.
